A Letter from My Heart to Yours

I’m Melissa. And for a long time, I was very good at pretending everything was fine. On paper, I had the “perfect life.” A successful international career. A polished image. Diplomas, business class flights, and a strong handshake. But behind the scenes? I was breaking.

I spent years running from unhealed trauma, performing strength, and wearing a mask that even I started to believe was real. Until it all collapsed.

The day I fled an abusive marriage with my two children and no safety net was the day my real life began. I lost everything — except the quiet voice inside me that said: this isn’t the end. That voice became my compass.

In the dark, I created a new way forward — not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever felt like they were drowning while the world clapped for their success.

I call it the Triple A Method: Analyze. Accept. Act. It saved me. And now it’s helping thousands of others rise, rebuild, and lead with more purpose, peace, and clarity than they ever imagined possible.
I wrote Have the Guts to Fail because I know what it’s like to look successful but feel lost. I know what it’s like to be the strong one — and to secretly want someone to be strong for you.

This book, this movement, this space — it’s all a love letter to the part of you that still believes in what’s next. Because yes, we can be healed and whole.

Yes, we can lead and feel.
Yes, we can rise — again and again — and still keep our softness.
